Watercolour Open Studio

A fun and relaxed open studio time where you can pursue your own watercolour projects while learning more skills from artist Lindsey Giroux and fellow students.

Lindsey will encourage students to paint the subjects they prefer. Students will work to achieve their own style of watercolour painting, with the facilitator guiding them along the way. In addition, students can expect small lessons to cover a specific style or technique such as watercolour sketching, wet-in-wet and glazing techniques. Beginners and artists of all levels of experience are welcome. This is the perfect class for those new to watercolour painting wanting to gather some techniques and gain confidence.

Students can expect to learn how to develop their ideas to produce finished artworks. Students work at their own pace. Lindsey will work with each student individually to develop their own work and style. This is an open studio so students can expect to spend a lot of time doing their own thing, asking for guidance when needed. Lindsey may pause the class to teach something that the whole group could benefit from, or she may teach individually.

Materials
Art materials are not included in the course fee. Students will need to supply their own materials. If you have your own materials please bring the following to each class or purchase the beginner Watercolour Painting Supplies Set from Lindsey. This set needs to be purchased in advance of the class.
